The Gardening Club.

The last time I went for a walk in the campus of National Taiwan University (台灣大學), I turned a corner after seeing the yellow sign pictured below that says Gardening Club and found a little piece of paradise. The rain had just stopped so it was wet, muddy and messy but it was also spacious, sun-lit and full of green life.

Garden in the University.

I hadn’t used my Yashica in a long, long while and decided to bring it to the compounds of National Taiwan University (台灣大學) after a friend informed me that the flowers were blooming in their public garden. The flowers did not disappoint, as usual, but I was even more taken to the beautiful old architecture around the campus. My own university covers an extremely small campus and the buildings are relatively new so I was always in awe of a beautiful campus like this one.

Lunar New Year Break.

My Chinese Lunar New Year break begins as of tomorrow and just like how we did it last year, the next two weeks will be wordless photography posts emulating the August Break organized by Susannah Conway. I will be traveling to Singapore to celebrate the oriental new year with my family so hopefully I’ll be using up a lot of film while out of town. I hate to be leaving the cool breeze and blue skies behind but also can’t wait for the opportunities to take more pictures. See you in the Year of the Snake!
