Sara’s photograph reminded me of this one that I took. Although this was taken back in January, it shall be my April Blue.

Markets in Denpasar / Part I.

Negative0-24-24(1)

Only two of us made it to the markets in Denpasar (one had left Bali, three were on a day trip white water rafting, two had lost their passports and were making necessary arrangements in Jakarta) – although I really wish everyone had the chance to go. Pasar Badung and Pasar Kumbasari are traditional markets sitting along the Badung River opposite each other. I highly recommend making the drive into the heart of Denpasar to spend a few hours in the afternoon mingling in the vibrant local crowd! More detailed shots to come taken on my Pentax, although I think I ended up preferring these wide-angled ones taken with the Superheadz UWS.

Negative0-09-09(1)2Lomography CN 800, Vivitar 220/SL

Having owned an online business since 2008, I’ve sent thousands of packages to many countries all over the world. It continues to amaze me, after all these years, how far the packages travel to go into the hands of someone living in a country whose name I might not even be able to pronounce. Here is a list of all the countries I’ve sent mail to, to the best of my memory:

- Argentina
- Australia
- Austria
- Belarus
- Belgium
- Bermuda
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Brazil
- Brunei
- Canada
- Chile
- China
- Croatia
- Cyprus
- Czech Republic
- Denmark
- Estonia
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Greece
- Hong Kong
- Hungary
- Iceland
- Indonesia

- Israel
- Italy
- Japan
- Kazakhstan
- Kuwait
- Latvia
- Lithuania

I checked against this list of countries of the world – what are some exotic countries you’ve sent mail to?
