Stone Wall Café on X-Pro Chrome / 石牆仔內.

Negative0-14-14(1)3

I brought my Konica C35MF along when we visited the Stone Wall Cafe, loaded with my last roll of Lomography X-Pro Chrome 100. I must admit I was disappointed at first that these did not turn out as colorful as the ones taken in Bali despite the slow shutter speed this camera is stuck with, though I am a huge fan of the blue and gold combination. These are mainly taken around the 140-year-old historic family estate the coffee shop was part of.

Happy Weekend.

The sign says in Chinese: “The world has enough for everyone’s need, but not enough for everyone’s greed.” – a quote by Gandhi.

We haven’t seen the sun for more than two weeks, only rain and chilly wind, which is not really true to December’s characteristics in Taipei. So, I’m thinking a little more about how we are treating mother earth today. Nevertheless, I wish you happy weekend!

A Colorful Run.

Negative0-01-00(1)2

Back in August my friends took part in the Color Me Rad run, during which instead of actually running, boys and girls get showered in color bombs and take pictures of themselves to upload onto Facebook and Instagram. I am not even being sarcastic.

I didn’t sign up because I wanted to be behind the camera to watch my friends make a fool of themselves, haha – no, seriously, they really looked like they had a lot of fun! Except at the end of the race when everyone was sweating like pigs in the hot, humid summer air and the colored corn-starch was melting along with their perspiration and everyone just kind of stank and no cab drivers would allow them in their cars.
