May was chock full of great afternoon walks and trips to the beach and that is always a good thing in my books. I’m going to miss the warm but comfortable weather of pre-summer but so ready for June. Birthday months are the best! This month we are traveling vicariously through:

– lalahearts: Palmengarten, Frankfurt, Germany
– Bye Bye Birdie: Baja California, Mexico
– Victoria Hannan: Ohio and Indiana, USA
– square moon sun: Boston, USA
– henriETTA soininen.: Istanbul, Turkey

A couple of weeks ago I stumbled upon Project View by murhaaya, a freelance photographer based in Prague. Almost immediately I knew that I could probably cobble together my own little Project View because let’s face it, working from home means I am home a lot, and there is always one specific view from home that starts or ends a roll of film, just to get you going or wrap up properly so you can finally go to the photo lab.

I stumbled upon a list of Taipei’s list of sister cities (unfortunately, I’ve only been to two – San Francisco and Los Angeles) and thought it’d be fun to make a list of which ones I really hope to visit one day:

– Seoul, South Korea
– Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
– Johannesburg, South Africa
– Versailles, France
– Warsaw, Poland
– Boston, Massachusetts, USA
– Ulan Bator, Mongolia

A list of your city’s sister cities (or twin towns) can be easily found on Wikipedia – which sister cities of yours would you like to visit?
