Taipei Lantern Festival / 台北燈節.

We brought our Korean friend to the annual Taipei Lantern Festival and ended up enjoying the exhibits tremendously ourselves. For some reason this year’s festival appealed to my aesthetics in a brand new way (they tend to get repetitive and boring) and I was so happy to come home to these photographs.

  1. as a beginning owner of Mju II as well, did you take those with a tripod? :) for me it’s super difficult to get the photos sharp like that in dark environments (or maybe iso 200 film is not enough and 400 makes the job? :) )

    1. Hi Kszo! I’m not a fan of carrying tripods around with me so.. :)

I have had my share of blurry photographs to force myself to hold on to the camera for at three or four seconds while it tries to function with little light. I don’t think there is such a thing as too high an ISO for a camera like the Mju II, I even have a roll of 1600 that I’m going to try soon! Good luck!
