A Photo An Hour / 05.

Negative0-31-28A(1)17AM, good morning.

Negative0-32-29A(1)18AM, taking the morning metro.

Negative0-35-32A(1)19AM, I got a bit lost trying to find it but I finally visited the Chongxin Bridge flea market for the first time. It was pretty lousy but meeting these ducks made my day.

Negative0-36-33A(1)110, almost 11AM, noticed that they are setting up the lunar new year goods market on the way to the fabric market.

Negative0-37-34A(1)112PM, finally settled at home with my lunch – iced tea and bánh mì (Vietnamese sandwich).

Negative0-38-35A(1)11PM, working.

Negative0-39-36A(1)12PM, checking up on my pressed flowers.

Negative0-02-0A(1)13PM, getting ready for a post office run.

Negative0-03-1A(1)14PM, all work and no play before the lunar new year holidays. Browsing my little watercolor notebook, resisting the urge to paint.

Negative0-04-2A(1)15PM, chocolate break.

Negative0-05-3A(1)16PM, on winter days I drink at least 3 mugs of tea each day.

Negative0-06-4A(1)17PM, teppanyaki (Japanese grill) dinner.

Negative0-07-5A(1)18PM, the dessert that comes with our dinner is Japanese pancake with taro paste.

  1. I envy your productivity! And your days seem so meaningful in the simplest way. This series is becoming my favorite of yours Katie :)

    1. I’m glad to hear that you enjoy it, April, I’m surprised it’s getting easier and not harder! I haven’t taken one in a long time though, maybe tomorrow! :D

  2. What a lovely and intimate concept, you stole my attention wanting to know more of your day as I was scrolling down. Lovely shots and awesome adventure.

I may try this concept. :)

    1. Thank you, Jane! I hope you will find the time to do at least one, I have found it to be quite therapeutic to look back on these photographs :)

    1. Thank you, Sydney! Haha, I paint for leisure and they really are nothing to show off about. Once in a while I might take a photo but usually they are just inside my little notebook. Thank you for your kind words though!
