A Photo An Hour / 03.

Negative0-20-20(1)11AM, starting the day with some sewing.

Negative0-21-21(1)12PM, a traditional Taiwanese breakfast for lunch.

Negative0-22-22(1)1PM, picking up a book (on watercoloring) at the library.

Negative0-23-23(1)2PM, unhappy to be stuck at home (waiting for guests to arrive) while the weather is great outside, as evidenced by my 4PM photograph.

Negative0-24-24(1)3PM, watching my partner embark on the journey of paper making.

Negative0-27-27(1)4PM, making a post office run in the beautiful weather.

Negative0-28-28(1)5PM, checking up on our first batch of handmade paper.

Negative0-29-29(1)6PM, early dinner (because breakfast for lunch doesn’t really fill up tummies).

Negative0-30-30(1)7PM, and the day ends with something sweet, as usual.

  1. Looks like a lovely day. :) How are the watercolors coming along? I bought all my supplies but have yet to start for the past year, haha.

    1. I haven’t had as much time as I want to to dabble with my watercolors but the Lunar New Year break is coming so I’m really looking forward to that! Pick up your brushes, Tammy! :D

    1. The one on the left is called “dan bing” (蛋餅), it is a thin crepe covered in egg. Usually we add other ingredients like bacon, ham, tuna and cheese. There are lots of ingredients to choose from! The one on the right is “tie ban mian” (鐵板面), very simple pan-friend noodles in mushroom or black pepper sauce!
