The Weekend List / 19.

Negative0-05-0A(1)2Lomography CN 400, Pentax K1000

Sometimes I have my Things to Do TODAY lists and sometimes they are just Things to Do lists but here’s a little sneak peek into some things I hope to get done currently:

– organize my negatives into neat folders (about a hundred rolls to go, I think)
– select photographs to make postcards
– make said postcards
– finish crocheting a baby blanket for a friend’s baby due in August
– start crocheting a baby blanket for a friend’s baby due in October/November
– put together a little giveaway on this blog (to be announced soon!)
– make a completely new item for the shop (thinking button brooches and button pendants..)
– try to sleep earlier… maybe?

What’s on your current to-do list?

  1. Organising negatives… mh, that is something I would really need to do as well!
It sounds like an interesting thing to do list, Katie!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. I totally put off organizing negatives for the longest time, it’s time I get them settled. I hope you’ve had a good weekend yourself, Polly!

  2. Ohhh I need to get something to put my negatives in definitely, they are all crammed in a box at the moment. Film and crochet are my favourite though – sounds fun to me :)

  3. I have the issue with Negatives too. I keep meaning to sort it out, but hey, why do today what you can put off to tomorrow? :)

    Idea for the shop:

Camera shutter Soft Release buttons! If you can make them as beautiful as your other buttons… ;)

    1. Well my pile was getting out of hand and definitely out of space. :)

Hey thanks for the idea! I’m definitely going to mull over it and look at how the technicalities would work out..

  4. Oh My God.

My to-do list is huuuuge. Most important: finish the loooooong process of buying a house!

Then I have to pack, move, buy furniture, etc, etc…

Something photography related though: I would like to get some frames (preferably buy them in bulk) so I can start displaying all of these photographs that I’ve been taking. Right now everything is kind of sitting in a big pile.

    1. I’m sending good vibes your way and hopr everything works out the way you want them to! It’s such a huge thing, buying a house!

When you have your new house you can start putting them in frames, so cool to have your own prints up in your own wall :) :) :)

  5. Oh, and I have an idea for the shop! Maybe some soft camera and/or lens pouches in cute fabrics. I’ve been looking for the perfect one and haven’t found it yet – something not too bulky but that will still protect the camera.

    1. I used to make them but the truth is I hardly use camera pouches myself, I just find it so troublesome to take the camera in and out of the pouch! Lens pouch though.. that’s an idea I have to give more thought to, thanks for the suggestion, Frances! :D

  6. katie you have such a cute shop!
apart from mundane to do things, i have to arrange negatives and go through hundreds of Japan trip photos and visit many many new places in singapore.

  7. Organizing negatives sound like a big project. Good luck with that!

I need to finish writing blog posts on my trip to Japan from last year. Sometimes replaying the trip in my head is just easier to write out all the details. Hehehe.

    1. I’m almost done, I think! It’s so great to see them filed neatly in binders instead of all over the place!

I totally know what you mean, sometimes I’m so concerned about getting the details right that if I can’t or TOO LAZY to, I’d rather just leave the posts wordless, haha!

You never did share your blog address, Tammy, would love to read if that’s alright! :)

      1. I think you have an advantage since you’re a photographer. You can just post photos and no words. It’d still be beautiful. :)

My blog is a mess and not updated but here it is: thebigfootprints.wordpress.com

        1. But I really quite enjoy travel blogs with details, like yours, they make my own travel planning so much easier! Thank you so much for sharing, Tammy! ♥
