A Vintage Market / Part I.

One Saturday in August last year I visited two markets – one specifically vintage and the other more handmade/upcycled vintage. At the vintage market I didn’t bring home a single thing because I literally wanted everything I saw – pins, old keys, fabric and adorable toys from the past. Doesn’t that happen to you sometimes?

  1. It happens to me a lot! There are times when I want everything that I will end up not buying anything at all. Just like when I was choosing a color for my Superheadz UWS. I initially liked Kumo San (light blue), but it was haplessly out of stock then, so after days of choosing what to pick, I ended up with white. Ironic, indeed, but funny! :)

I fell in love with the old keys, they are so beautiful! ♥

    1. Hahaha, yes I have a tendency to refrain from being greedy with material things, it makes me feel bad afterwards so I try not to do it! The keys are one of a few things I considered buying very seriously but I couldn’t decide on just one, at all! :D

    1. This one was a joy to browse, the vendors were especially generous with all the photographing (compared to some I’ve been to..) and I wish I could buy something from every one of them. :D

    1. Thank you, Polly dear! ♥ It felt more like these people were showcasing their wonderful collections of old, beautiful things and we can only watch in awe :D

  2. How incredibly cute! (SO well captured with the Lomography film too) I almost went bananas at the Brooklyn Flea last year. It’s one of the things I like the most on Sundays :)

    1. Thank you, Anna, I feel the same way about how the Lomography film worked in this set, quite the perfect tones. :) Gosh, the Brooklyn Flea… even the name sounds beckoning!

  3. The colors are amazing in this pictures Katie <3
it happens everyday…i have an itch for everything old, that's why my house looks like a granny's house ahahahah.
Now i will get dressed and go to the charity shop!

    1. It’s a beautiful, precious granny’s house! Old things have soul, it’s reflected in their prettiness, haha! I hope you find something nice to bring home with you, dear Sara ♥
