This was how our outdoor terrace looked at the beginning of summer – and then it became too hot, sometimes the rain was too huge, and many of these tiny lives didn’t even make it into fall. The weather this year has been quite turbulent for outdoor gardening so that’s one thing I haven’t managed to do as well as I would have liked to. I’ll definitely been reading up and making wiser choices for outdoor plants next year!

Despite the bad weather, those little treasures look so beautiful and precious to me!
You’re right, Polly, despite the bad weather I’m glad these were here for a while to brighten up the outdoor space we have. ♥
Oh my, these photos are crazy beautiful, Katie! Love them!
Thank you, dear April, for being a fellow lover of flowers and gardens! ♥♥♥
i love your garden,either way :)
…but the same happened to me…some of my plants died from the cold although they had enough water and sun :/
:( I hope next year brings better weather for our flowers and plants. ♥
I keep my cactus on window sill, and they love their place (I think they do!)
As weird as it might sound.. we actually don’t have any windowsills in the house we live in right now. No, wait, we do have ONE (http://curatingcuteness.com/tag/the-window/) but even right there is not the best place for cacti, haha!
