A Colorful Run.

Back in August my friends took part in the Color Me Rad run, during which instead of actually running, boys and girls get showered in color bombs and take pictures of themselves to upload onto Facebook and Instagram. I am not even being sarcastic.

I didn’t sign up because I wanted to be behind the camera to watch my friends make a fool of themselves, haha – no, seriously, they really looked like they had a lot of fun! Except at the end of the race when everyone was sweating like pigs in the hot, humid summer air and the colored corn-starch was melting along with their perspiration and everyone just kind of stank and no cab drivers would allow them in their cars.

  1. aahahahahha you made me laugh so much with your post <3

i think this 'races' are very trendy right now, i see them happening too in Portugal but erm never wanted to take part of it!
I would probably get allergic to the ink and all sorts of weird stuff would happen, but i'm so glad you were along to tell us the story!
And i love the colors in this film!

    1. Hahaha, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I tried not to be so snarky with my words but I couldn’t help it – it was an absurd little event in my opinion!

  2. Wow, I love the skin-tone effect on this batch! I can almost feel the dust and sweat haha, and I mean that in a good way, Katie :) Third to the last photo really captured the moment of this event.

  3. I’m always amazed people sign up for this too if I’m honest, why would you want people throwing things at you whilst you’re running but each to their own I guess. You captured it brilliantly :) I’d have stayed behind the camera too ha

    1. Hahahaha, you’re so right! These (crazy) people were running extra slowly at points where they were throwing the corn-starch so that could get thrown at! CRAZY! Yes, I could imagine that most of us would choose to stay behind the camera, I’m glad you enjoy these! :)

  4. Hahaha! That looks so colourful and so much fun!
I guess I also would have wanted to remain behind the scene to take pictures… and to be honest I’m not that good at running either! :-P

  5. Reminds me of the Holi festival here. Not my favorite festival. I have chased a couple of unfortunate kids for bombing me hahaha.
I guess it’l be more fun if one is a willing participant:)
