Caves Gallery.

Negative0-15-24A(1)

I walked past the Caves Gallery (敦煌畫廊) on my way back home after an afternoon at Dwelling Cafe in the Yongkang area. The sun had almost finished setting and it was way too dark for photographs but it was opening night for a calligraphy exhibition, so I made my way inside to explore the refurbished Japanese house turned gallery.

I love the calligraphy on the first photo. (If I read it right, it’s a teahouse). Reminds me of one of the many reasons why I began studying Chinese. Got some new material today, so I am kinda planning to start all over but with traditional characters…

Your photos in the last weeks have really made me want to go south-east again…

I would love to know what you think.
