Wulai Old Street.

After our mandatory cherry blossoms photo shoot, we headed over to Wulai Old Street (烏來老街) for lunch. There are many “old streets” in Taiwan, probably one in each town, and all boast a variety of specialties. This one at Wulai is famous for its hot spring eggs (溫泉蛋) and wild boar sausages (山豬肉香腸).

  1. My goodness, these are photos and places I want to see. Everything about it is so real and down to Earth, and shows a side of Taiwan that is so lovely and rich in it’s own history. Wonderful shots!

  2. I wasn’t even thinking about food until I got to the end and now I’m starving. Also, I love all the wild nature you see in the background in a lot of these. Especially the wall of trees that takes place of the sky in your photo of the architecture.

    1. We have tons of – creative, if you will – street food that I hope you’ll get to try some day! And thank you for noticing the details in these pictures!
