If you take the bus in the city along where the Kaohsiung Cultural Center (高雄市文化中心) is, you’ll see some fascinating art installations decorating the bus stops. We were on our way to a cafe when we passed by one of the said bus stops – beautiful pigeons atop. For a moment, they felt so real I was afraid they’d all be gone before I could take a picture. Well, I had time for two.

Oh my gosh! You’re right; those do look incredibly real! I love how collected they are. Although, you’re maybe lucky they aren’t alive … they aren’t dive-bombing you. ;)

    • Katie says:

I know! Haha! I’m actually a little bit afraid of pigeons, they are so huge and unafraid. Turns out it is a good they’re not real! :)

  2. Tammy says:

That’s brilliant. Makes me wonder if any real pigeon would fall for it and attempt to join them. :)

    • Katie says:

You know, apparently this particular installation was inspired by the gatherings of pigeons just outside the Cultural Center. I guess the real pigeons have their own home ground so they probably don’t care for it! :D

The @nd one looks like the are gonna start singing any moment..the “Choir” stand:)

I would love to know what you think.
