Daytrip to Yilan – Lunch.

Back in July we had our first day off since the opening of my friends’ hostel + cafe and we decided to go on a little road trip to Yilan, a county in Northeastern Taiwan. We got lost for a bit trying to find our way out of Taipei in our rented car and reached just in time for lunch. Mimi was very curious about what we were having, I’m sure you can tell from the last picture.

is that curry on the first picture? or just really thick homely soup? Either way it looks really good! Hello cute Mimi!

那些菜看看非常好吃的食品!Looks like a meal fit for kings!
Is that baby bok-choy? 这是我的最喜欢的菜!(as in vegetable)

It all looks so delicious! I love curries. I used to find them too spicy, but I’ve since built up my tolerance. ;) And I see a little face there, curious to know what everyone’s eating. I don’t think those items would have sat too well with her.

I’m not usually a fan of seafood, but this all looks beautiful and delicious.

I would love to know what you think.
