I don’t have many pictures to share from the first time I went to the FuHe Bridge flea market. It was rainy, the crowd was sparse and people weren’t too camera-friendly – I kept my camera away after I was told by one vendor not to photograph his antique goods.
The flea market itself is some kind of a gem in the city, though. You’ll need to reach as early as 6 in the morning for a fine selection of vintage clothes and wares amidst piles of second-hand junk. I also somehow managed to take the “official” picture for Parachute Hostel, just right after my friends scored those two lovely vintage suitcases.
My second trip to the flea market was very different – the weather was awesome and everyone was too busy scouring for good stuff to notice my camera – I hope to share pictures with you soon!
