Brick and Mortar – The Furniture.

We’ve made our way to the local IKEA over and over again in the past month to source for, decide on and, finally, purchase appropriate furniture for my friends’ cafe + travel hostel. I’ve always been a fan but to have all the reason in the world to purchase practically anything you want (within budget, of course) to decorate three levels of empty space is a pretty awesome thing.

  1. Oh my, I feel excited somehow while reading this. I really wish we had Ikea here, they seem to have such awesome stuff.
I am also super interested to know about the hostel. I’m just starting to make plans about travelling the world, little by little. My mom is so worried for my safety, as I told her I maybe staying in hostels.
Will your friend’s hostel be open for foreign tourists? I feel as if it maybe safe & easy to come on a trip to Taiwan & stay there, because I *know* you & I always feel like I can trust fellow bloggers…
Will the place have a website? If not, please send me an email if possible when it opens. It’s not like the trip will happen within a year, but still. :)

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment! I already planned to write a post on Parachute Hostel before you left the comment and here it is: – staying in travel hostels is actually very safe, I did so during my trip to the US some years ago. Many girls travel alone and make friends during their trips. I hope you’ll be able to realize your traveling dreams!
