Cat Fight.

A while before we moved, the computer shop in the building opposite ours adopted a new cat into their kitty family of two, making it three beautiful cats for me to photograph. The first day I met the new kid – the one in white and ginger – I went upstairs to grab my camera for some pictures and caught two of them in a little cat fight. Play time is the sweetest thing to watch ever, no?

The Path Café / 花徑開咖啡館.

I must admit that ever since my friends’ cafe opened for business, I find it hard to want to patronize other establishments for coffee. I love spending time with my girlfriends at a nice little place to chat for hours over coffee or tea but now that we have one just downstairs where we live, it just seems more reasonable to invite everyone over. I do, however, have a couple of other places I want to share with you because I think they are definitely worth a visit, especially if you always have a camera in your hands.

These pictures were taken about two months ago at a cozy place called The Path Cafe (花徑開咖啡館) – I heard lots of good things about their risotto before we went and it definitely lived up to the hype!

Mail from Bulgaria.

Doesn’t the package above just promises awesomeness? It took me a lot of patience to take the time for a picture before I ripped it open (I had to wait for the rain to stop!). I won the Zenit TTL on Ebay – technically, it wasn’t exactly winning because I was bidding against nobody – and it came in about two weeks from Bulgaria. No one gets tired of receiving mail in brown paper and strings and huge post office stickers, don’t you think?

Zenit TTL.

I was so excited to see how my test roll on the Zenit TTL would turn out and I must say I’m really looking forward to using it a whole lot more. I’m on my third roll as we speak and there are just so many things I love about it – the ridiculously swirly bokeh, the super light tones when shot wide open (a dream when worked with Solaris and Fujifilm negative films) and really cool 58mm lens. I’ll share photos of the camera itself tomorrow!

Good food is one of my personal indulges – I can never make myself buy expensive clothes or shoes or makeup but food, I can make a lot of exceptions with my spending when it comes to food. This was more than two months ago, when we still had the time to go for barbecue in the afternoon if we felt like it. I can’t say I don’t miss the freedom but I’m really proud of what my friends and I are doing now so there are bound to be sacrifices to make. That said, lots of cute cafe food pictures coming up!
