Besides the awesome street food, the average Taiwanese night market features various forms of entertainment and a lot of shopping. One thing you definitely should not miss are the traditional carnival games such as balloon shooting, net fishing, pinball machines and claw cranes. Lots of fun for a couple of pennies, worth every cent!

Such awesome stuff. Love those little trolleys.
Ahhh this is all so adorable! I want that tiny shopping cart!!!!!!!
It is the cutest thing, isn’t it? I have the pink one on my work table, holding my pens! :D
Wow, that looks like so much fun!
You might not find it too much fun though, there’s always a huge crowd, even on rainy days!
Man, I thought it was all food but entertainment, too!? This looks like so much fun! I want to go!
I hope you get to come one day! :)
I really like these photos just because there are so many cute, quaint and little things to look at! I think it’s cool that you keep your pens in a shopping cart (certainly beats the old Purdue mug on my desk). The cassette tape purse thingy is pretty cool, but I would probably bop around an Angry Birds bobblehead, too. :)
I’m glad you enjoy the little things, they’re a huge part of what makes night markets so interesting!
I wish there were night markets here!!!
