If you ever visit Taipei, the travel books will definitely point you to the sea-side town of Danshui. It’s a great historical site with lots of local food and very accessible via the metro. Although I’ve been to Danshui many times myself, this was really the first time I came early enough to catch the sunset this place is famous for.
As you can probably tell, it was so beautiful I just kept snapping pictures until the last bit of light disappeared into the Taiwan Strait.
