One of my favorite doll makers, Maria Madeira of kase-faz, has new dolls for your ogling pleasure (previously featured here)! I just adore how each little doll is unique in its handmade details; how can one not be blown away by this much of creativity? It’s funny how things always seem to appear in themes when you least expect it. Just right after I met Maria’s new dolls, I saw Kerry’s post on another super adorable doll, Rutty. I’m constantly amazed at the discovery of shops that are unbelievably beautiful but also utterly under-profiled on Etsy.
If you remember my list of crafty things I’d like to do in 2011, a plush toy/doll is one of them. I’m really looking forward to making (pun intended) a new friend!

I do so love a good plushie!! I have a few hanging out around my apartment. I simply must get an everyeskimo woolen friend for myself (I did buy one as a birthday gift for my mom, though!). This is an adorably artful collection, Katie!

Each one is cuter than the next! I have a boy, so have made more stuffed animals than dolls. He would love those cats with the scarves. I just had to abandon a project trying to make a little cat plushie. I thought I was following the directions but the head came out very oddly shaped. Frustrating!
