(Re-Nest)
Ever since we moved into our current apartment in July, I’ve been quite obsessed with putting things on the wall. You see, I grew up with a Virgo mother who has deep respect for cleanliness and white space. Pictures, paintings and little ornaments are considered dust magnets and therefore not ideal for cleanliness or white space. I don’t blame my mother for the obvious lack of decorations in our home (because it is, after all, still the cleanest and brightest place I’ve ever lived in); I just had to wait till I have my own apartment to doll up, like now. We’ve got a Polaroid garland, a postcard wall, a fabric calendar, some fabric art framed in embroidery hoops and are expecting our first art prints in the mail. Here are some inspiration for prettying up your walls.

That is a BEAUTIFUL selection of spaces. Eclectic, colorful, yet clean and modern. Now I can’t wait to go home and clean up my house.

I love this! I am very obsessed at the moment with buying art prints and the like to decorate my surrounding. I’m just plain sick of looking at all my ugly junk/walls – I need arty-ness more than I ever realised!!

I’m glad you enjoyed this, Hannah! I’m constantly looking out for affordable handmade ideas to doll up walls and these just gave me so much inspiration. If there’s one thing I learned, you really do become the space you live in so decorate away! :)
